Lauren Comm lives in Fox River Grove with her husband Bradley and their three sons, Grayson, Landon and Cooper.  She has a Master’s Degree in Education and studied at the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning. She has worked extensively at a number of area synagogues as a Hebrew and Jewish Studies teacher as well as a B’nai Mitzvah teacher for the last eighteen years. She has experience teaching all age groups from preschool up to and including adult learners.

 

Lauren continually seeks out new and creative ways to involve the students as well as the families in making Jewish learning fun for all. She loves being able to pass on our Jewish heritage, traditions, and faith while making it exciting being part of this amazing Shir Hadash community. Lauren makes Judaism come alive for young children through exciting craft projects, engaging stories, Hebrew games, and so much more. Children will gain a strong sense of belonging to the Jewish people and they will learn some of the ways we pray, learn, and play as Jews.
