Rabbi Eitan Weiner-Kaplow discusses his retirement plans.

Founding Rabbi Eitan Weiner-Kaplow served as our spiritual leader, teacher, resource guide, facilitator, advisor, contemporary and caring friend from our founding in 1995 until his retirement in 2023. He embraces the pillars of community, creativity, and caring to enhance the celebration of our Jewish tradition and heritage. 

 

Rabbi Weiner-Kaplow was ordained at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and holds degrees in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Middle Eastern archaeology from Rutgers. He brings his special skills of song leading, guitar playing and storytelling to our services and programs. He is a nationally known Judaic calligrapher and paper-cut artist as well.
